Thin Jail Fat Image

The reasons for running a thin jail containing a mere handful of files are manageability and security.

The "default" Squeak image is the Full release: This image contains "all of the usual multimedia, developer and educational content. Also known as the 'kitchensink' image."

I went to the trouble of setting up a thin jail only to run a fat image. Oh, the incongruence! ;-)

There exists the Basic release, "an image configuration containing just the essential developer tools. What one might call an 'IDE'." Perhaps this image is more appropriate for the thin jail.

There is also the notion of a Minimal release, which "would be the smallest possible kernel which contains a bootstrappable core of Squeak." Supposedly, Boris Gaertner has produced such a release for Squeak 3.6, although I can't find it on his page.
