M2Crypto in Chandler

M2Crypto is in Chandler.
Cool!

Heikki Toivonen has just posted about his improvements to M2Crypto to the python-crypto mailing list.

He also announced PyEGADS, a Python wrapper for EGADS, which is a cryptographically strong pseudo-random number generator and entropy daemon. PyEGADS is cross platform, and open source.

Caveat #3 in M2Crypto's README says "PRNG may not be CS (continuous seeding) nor CS (cryptographically strong)."

Let's hope this becomes a non-issue.

Re: M2Crypto in Chandler

Well, it's a bit early to say it is in Chandler, but I'm working on it ;)

I just posted my ported patches to the mailinglist, look for them there.

Btw, thanks Ng and everyone who has contributed to M2Crypto. It's shaping up to be pretty nice.
